Quadal is either an actual employee at Hero Factory, or more likely a helper drone to assist Senior Mission Manager Nathaniel Zib. This floating-cyclops-egg-thing is portrayed as the forced comic relief in the Hero Factory TV Show. Many times throughout all the episodes, Zib will unnecessarily refer to the drone during conversation.
Zib will refer to the dron, for instance, by saying 'Right Quadal' or 'Quadal is correct' knowing that this piece of equipment can only speak in 'beeps' and other such noises.
"So Zib, what's up with that hovering oval that's always following you around?"
Though not being a sentient creature, not at least in the way we can understand, Quadal does appear to react to other bots with some form of emotion. Zib's assistant is nothing more than a comic relief character who doesn't provide any useful information to the heroes or the show. While it is stated that Quadal has worked with the Science Team on developing new armor, there isn't much else to this character. Neither the comic series, nor Hero Factory FM includes Quadal in their continuity.
Hero Recon Team[]

Hero Recon Team was formed shortly after the creation of Hero Factory. The founder, Mr. Makuro, realized that the organization needed to understand the evils that exist in the galaxy if it was successfully to maintain peace and prosperity. Mr. Makuro signed one of Hero Factory's top heroes Merrick Fortis to help form and lead this new intelligence division. Fortis set up headquarters in a secret location in Makuhero City, and set about recruiting the best and brightest heroes to gather intelligence for Hero Factory.
